Your health and well being are worth fighting for and that's the attitude of the Fitness and Conditioning Program at MMA Academy. We incorporate heavy bags, Jungle Gym XT's, medicine balls, kettle bells, plyometrics, focus mitts and more to build and increase functional strength, stamina and agility.

Our Program offers specialized and unique fitness classes that you cant get anywhere else. Whether you are interested in fitness classes only, or you wish to enhance your Krav Maga self defense, martial arts and fight training, our Fitness and Conditioning Program brings a fresh experience to the total body workout...

Enroll in this unique way of training solely or combined it with one of our other programs to get into shape and have fun doing it!

MMA Academy's KM Fitness and Monkey Bar Gym classes are designed to complement our Krav Maga Self Defense program or bring a fresh, stand-alone experience to the total body workout.

MMA Bag Cardio -This rhythmically based class of continuous movement utilizing basic Krav Maga combatives in order to stress the cardio respiratory and cardiovascular system. Within the warm up, an emphasis is placed on basic yoga poses that increase one’s balance, strength, and flexibility.

MMA Bag & Conditioning - An integration between strength training exercises and bag work, focus mitt, and/or Thai pad training.  These classes are designed to increase student’s power and performance. Medicine balls, kettle bells, plyometric skills and more to are used build and increase functional strength, stamina and agility. Gloves are required for this class.

Focus Mit 1 - This workout is for beginners to become familiar with striking and holding focus mits. This class combines calisthenics while refining basic striking techniques with focus mit training into one fast paced class. An emphasis is placed on interval training throughout the duration of class to stress cardiovascular strength.  Class concludes with core training and/or a stretch segment.

Focus Mit 2* - This class is for someone who is familiar with striking and holding focus mits/thai pads. This class combines calisthenics while refining striking combinations with focus mit training into one fast paced class. An emphasis is placed on interval training throughout the duration of class to stress cardiovascular strength.  Class concludes with core training and/or a stretch segment. *Boxing gloves or bag gloves are required also must have attended “Focus Mit 1”

Sport Circuit - Circuit class is designed to work on all components of athletic skill.  This class is done in a station format.  Each station has different exercises and drills that increase balance, coordination, agility, speed, power, and flexibility.  There is a large focus on core stability and strength.

Monkey Bar Gym - MBG is a unique workout experience! Monkey Bar Gyms, founded in 2000, are the first skill-based gym in the country that do not use exercise or weight machines, mirrors, or require shoes to train members and are the only gyms in the nation to integrate full-body skills training for strength, speed, and stamina; Eischens Yoga for restoration and healing; and a suggested diet for the health of people and the planet. (These components together form the “MBG3”).
